The way I feel about my life

‘Life is like a wheel of fortune. It spins on and on— filled with both ups and downs.’

In the early years of my existence, I never really cared much about what life has to offer and that what it is really all about. I even failed to ask ‘what am I here for?’ Thus, I even envied those who found the true meaning of their lives the soonest.

As I sailed across the heavy waters, I realized that life isn’t just about striving to be happy and luxurious. It entails a lot of sacrifices and struggles. What matters is that one gets to discover and embrace all the lessons from every experience and that one learn from it.

It is when I managed to learn what contentment and acceptance are that I felt this inner joy oozing within me— though I dropped a lot of important things along my journey.

The pain of loosing everything for the larger cause and the joy of retrieving something better are what make my life worth living. Hurts may be distasteful but on the brighter side, it made me even crave for the joy of surrender. This is what I love about my life. It is never constant nor consistent, yet it is perfect!

Having those wildest encounters, I became stronger and more courageous in anticipating other storms in life and that they were my bridge towards getting closer to God. I never even thought of having regrets even a second because I’ve learned that everything happens for a reason. I love everything about this life, except that I still have minor flaws to be settled. Yet, those flaws are what geared me towards achieving and reaching my goals.

A mixture of pains, heartaches, struggles and sacrifices, hopes and dreams, & thus, pleasantries comprise my whole being. After the storm, there’s always that wonderful rainbow. Foe every dark sky, there’s always a silver- lining.

Just like the wheel of fortune, life revolves ion every angle, entering ups and downs. This what makes my life interesting and perfect!
