Reality T.V. Fans, internet series fans, "Idol" Fans and music fans rejoice! I am excited to inform you that we have found our final judge(s)!For those of you who don't already know, a new internet series will soon be created. Around April of last year, I received an email from a very good friend of mine, explaining that he came up with an idea and wanted to know what I thought of it. I thought it was a very great idea, hence why I am blogging about it. He thought we should make our own talent-searching music show, to showcase talent in Texas! Horrible stereotypes have always been thought about Texas, such as there being nothing but rednecks and cowboys, so now's our chance to prove everyone wrong! Since Austin, Texas has always been a very big and musical city, we decided we'd start the search for talent in Texas' capital! "Austin Idol" is a show based off of many reality TV shows, such as the juggernaut American Idol. Our show will have a host, 3-4 judges, and will be entirely real. Footage will be recorded at the auditions and throughout the season, and will be placed on sites such as Myspace,Youtube and more. Nothing fake, all real footage, and no solely promoted by celebrity lies. This show is for real people, by real people. Now for the judges. Daniel Haynes, being the creator of the show, was the first people to be a judge. Luckily for being friends with him, and for me meeting his qualifications, I became the second judge. For over a year, we have been searching for at least one female judge who had not only great chemistry with us, but was nice and qualified, we have finally found our 3^rd and first female judge! My most recent friend and very close friend, Ashley Dodd will be taking the part as our newest addition to the judging panel! We have but one last person whom we asked to be a 4^th judge, but even if she says no will have everything we need! Now for as how will the show work, its very easy to understand and very straightforward. Auditions will be held in Austin ..ed dates, and people will be given the chance to try out. After each person sings, we shall all give our opinion of their audition and then vote. If the contestant gets at least 2 yeses (or 3 if 4 judges) then they pass to the next round. We will continue working with the aspiring singers, and once we narrow it down to the top 24 it's the peoples' turn to decided! People will be allowed to vote for the contestants they like, and each week the one with the lowest number of votes will be eliminated. Once we get to the winner, they will have already gained a fan base and chance to show the world what they got, get their own official site, including official you tube and myspace, along with many other great prizes that'll be a surprise!;) We hope you, your friends, and your friend's friends will all enjoy our internet series!
