Okay,first off I should maybe kinda explain where everything is at(cause I don't think I've done that yet!) Well,at our school everything is in seperate buildings,for all sorts of reasons,including to kinda get us used to big campuses for like later on when I go to college,to make things somewhat easier,and just the plain and simple fact that High School students(seniors ONLY) and college students can also take some college classes there.Seniors at my school can do all sorts of things,like already take some college credit classes,go to this building called "Quest" if you qualify,and if you do you can graduate High School in just 4 months,but its tons of work,but you get there the same time as regular school,but get to leave at noon!Plus your in a quiet,building really mainly in a room by yourself to do you work,or if Seniors have all their credits but don't wanna take Quest or college classes,they can just take 3 classes and leave at noon[so being a Senior sounds kinda good,you get to leave early] Okay,now back to the buildings.There are Buildings A,B,C,D,E,and F.Building A is the school office,the nurse's office and the consulor's offices all in one.Building B is the science one,Building C is the career/technology building,Building D is a two story building,and it has all the History,Math and English Classes,plus like yearbook,Spanish 1-3(or maybe its 4...)and some other classes I may not be aware of.Building E is the Cafeteria,and the school's gym.And the final Building is F,is for the Theatre Arts 1-4,including basically advanced theatre,Varsity,and the rest of the exercise classes, like Althetics,Dance Class,ect.A few more things I should meantion,we are not allowed any cellphones,ect for it'll get taken up,and we'll go to "ABC",and then our parents have to drive up to talk to someone about it,then PAY to get whatever it is back:3 Also,we'll have to get student IDs made for all of us for some reason.And,we can get excused from semester exams in classes!(used to at our school,only juniors and seniors could,but thanks to my spanish teacher,now softmores and freshman can too!:3) Basically it works like this: a grade of 90 or higher in the class,plus no more than 3 absenses that semester,you can get excused,

a grade of 80-89: no more than 2 absenses and you can get excused,and 70-79 + no more than 1 absense and you can get excused.A new rule states that absenses from even Dr.App. now count against you,the only ones that don't count as an absense is a school-related one(football,sports,theatre arts,ban..) Now that you kinda know quite a bit about my school,now I'll gossip/spill the dirt/tell my opinions on all my classes,the class schedules,and about the teachers![aka The Best and Juicy Part!]

1st Class: Spanish 1 [1st floor,D building] [Teacher Ann Price aka Seniora Price] I like it.I took just regular,easy spanish in Middle School with like not only one of my fav. teachers,but I was one of her fav students for some reason^^.But anyways,I like the class,and I'm doing pretty good so far,its just the teacher is very very fast and tries to teach sooo much at once,plus she says everything in Spanish,then repeats it in EnglishO_o I think it'll be fine,I'm just not used to it yet.The teacher is this basically an old,gray-haired lady with glasses,but she is sooo energetic and peppy.She knows English,Spanish and is now learning Italian.She said she tried French,but it was too hard for some reason:3 The only thing besides some things I meantioned I don't quite like is I'm just like one of only 3 freshman in there.....-_- Anyways,so that's basically the most intresting info for that class.

Friends in that class: Daniel Haynes~A good,funny friend of mine since like 1st grade

Unlikeable people:Alessya:She is this really annoying,hateful,snobby and basically just bitchy girl.But she doesn't sit near me,or really get a chance to talk that much so she's basically "pushed back in her monkey cage" for now!



Theatre Arts 1 [F Building] [Teacher: Tonya Tiday,aka Mrs.Tiday] Umm...I'm not quite sure about this class yet,its not as fun,wonderful and great as it was in Middle School so far:3 The teacher is kinda "too happy too much" all the time..she's kinda really weird acting:3 Plus she says she is super shy,yet teaches theatre arts!?(she claims she's not on stage,cause since she can play a different character)and the class is just..odd...She basically makes us do this large,hard and kinda painful warm-up exercises,and we write from the book a lot.In fact next Friday one of our assignments is to make our own exercise routines with some vocal exercises,and make the whole class do it with us,plus we are graded for a major test grade on it:3 But I do like quite a few things about the class.

1.We get our own headshots,but they are taken by 100% professional photographers,not the ones just for like the school year[random sidenote,what's weird/kinda annoying about our school is unlike previous years,order a yearbook and get it at the end of the year,these ones you get at the beginning of the next year! The only upside is for once its ALL in color and like 12 pages longer than usual:3] anyway,the photgrapher will have us in their own private room,will pose up,work with us,and mess with our hair or anything they need too to do their best to make a HQ photo^^[they'll be displayed around the whole theatre classes] 2.We will get to be on a COMMERCIAL ON TV! Now,it may just be for Burnet only,or Texas only or something for we don't know too much about it right now,but basically we'll do a short musical commericial for like Bells and other stores!^^ 3. Now this isn't too horrible,and I wouldn't consider it an "upside".We'll put on a play for the Elementary in Burnet(and possibly the 6th grade too).It'll have to be a fairy-tale story of our choice turned musical,and then we'll have to talk tons about theatre and explain it,answer any kids questions about it if we can,and make a project with them about our playO_o The upside to that thou is we get a fully-excused absent from school for like a day or maybe even two days!Now about the teacher some more:P The teacher's age I think is 33 :3 She has 1 daughter that's 5 and watches Blue's Clues with her...And her is how she looks:long brown hair,sometimes in a pony tail,a tired-looking face with this kinda odd light brown mole,average body,usually wears jeans with a shirt or a dress,and high heels or cowboy boots[aka the "Curse" of Texas,or at least IMO]

Friends in there: Mainly this loud,kinda annoying Sabrina Bird girl,but she's nice...just crazy......Its kinda hard to explain.....

3.English 1 [D Building,second floor,but sadly we have to take stairs,the elevator is for special cases,emergencies only,and TEACHER'S only>_<] [Teacher: Shaw Cockerham aka "Coach Cockerham"...weird last name isn't it!?]

He's basically just a white-haired,chubby,"gruff" old coach.He used to teacher boys and girls basketball,like every sport,but now just teaches english and plays golf and hunts in his space time. He's okay,and the class is pretty easy,just very long thou(I'll send you a class time schedule next,cause this is pretty long:3) Its better than last year,cause I had one of the most crazy,hateful and evil old teachers last year that NO ONE liked,named Mrs.Fowler.English is usually my besr subject,and one of my faves,but she ruined it for me...but IDK,I like it again now that I don't have her^^

Friends: Two:Gennifer Arms and Trina Word

Annoying people: Not really too much of anyone,just a few of the dumb football players & cheerleaders:3

Geometry Pre Ap [D Building,second floor,again!] [Teacher: Susan Scott aka Mrs.Scott] As you may have already noticed,my ONLY advanced class.I qualify for more,and could have taken more,but its just soo much work and causes so much problems and confusion and esp this being my first year of High School,I decided to only take one..its not super bad right now,but if it for some reason it gets too hard,I can drop out...But hopefully I won't have too,cause I've doing good so far and have survived two years of advanced math! The class is basically just a slightly more difficult geometry class.:3 Its almost entirely filled with freshman and the people in my algebra class last year,the only difference is there is like one guy who is like a softmore,or junior or something:3 The teacher is this super short old lady with blonde going gray hair,and wears dresses a lot and everything.Nice,but has a very high voice,kinda looks and sounds a lot like the mother of Eric and the wife of Red on That 70s Show,so that's kinda cool:3

Friends: Katherine Coyler,and some others.I like Katherine,but she is one of my extremely rare friends that has a very annoying quality:3 She can be very very very very very very very very VERY bossy at times:3 So that gets pretty annoying...

Annoying people: My Ex-Best Friend(aka long story,just read/reread/remember my previous blog post about it)



Intergrated Physics and Chemisty [B Building] Stephen Figun aka Mr.Figun Awesome class.! I love science,and he reminds me of one of my absolute favorite science teachers from 6th grade.The class is basically a preparation class to get people ready for Physics and Chemisty:3 The class has people I kinda know,and who are funny/not too bad^^ There is like 3 other students in there who are like Seniors or Juniors,but thats it.The class is pretty fun so far.The classroom has all sorts of cool stuff,like 3 snakes,a taranchula,a hermit crab,a globe that levitates in midair,a deal that measures humidty so it tells you when/if it'll rain(for the past we have had tons of rain,rare for Texas.In fact,today it was so bad I swear it was almost like a hurricaneO_O)The teacher is basically this white-haired old guy,whose super friendly,witty,clever and just plain awesome^^



Bus Comp Info Sys 1(aka BCISD,a computer knowledge class that has to be taken,shows us how to learn everything about computers) [C Building] [Teacher: Jann Evans aka Mrs.Evans] Kinda a weird,almost CYBORG type of teacher!! (fits being a computer teacher I guess:) But trust me,my school always has some of the best and some of the most weirdest teachers who ever lived!in fact a lot of people think they are monsters,or robots,or aliens of something) She talks really dry and emotionless.Example:*in funny robot accent* "LIKE A ROBOT" She has like one son,who is (as she says) a "wonderful college football player".Pretty good teacher I guess,just kinda robotlike.She has blackish-gray hair,super short and very very chubby,and that's really all I could say about her.She's my last class of the day^O^ (which is great,cause we usually get lucky and get too far ahead or too far behind so we usuaully end up with just free time on the computer)

Friends:Linda Holley(goes by Dani for some reason)

Annoying people: uhh..just some kinda dumb senior football players and a few of the "skaters"(or so they think :rolls eyes: ) in my grade.



7th: Communication App.[Speech] [D Building,second floor,my "second" period on Tuesdays and Thursdays only,and only for the first semester^^] [Teacher: Monica Farmer] [newly married,super religious,diabetic,20-something-year-old teacher] aka Mrs.Farmer. Uhh,the class is probably my least favorite.I just hate getting up to give speeches or present like a report or something...and I'm one of only 6 freshman...the only reasons I am taking it are cause its required,I could've taken it last year but Mrs.Fowler taught it as wellO_O,and plus they said the teacher was great for it(the old teacher,she like retired or moved or something) This teacher is okay,she wears TONS AND TONS of make-up,blond hair to her to the middle of her back,and wears jeans a lot(Jean fetish!lol) Uhh...all I can say is I'll be glad when this class is over,cause for the reasons above,and plus she does not seem to like me for some reason Wonder what did I do wrong?T_T

Friends: none really...

Annoying people:almost the whole class..about 97% of the people.....

World Geography [D Building,upstairs,Tuesdays and Thursday only] [Teacher Nathan Turner,aka Coach Turner] Super awesome friendly cool teacher! He makes World Geography pretty sweet ,answers any questions we ask(even about him,like the first day we had him,for like 30 mins we just got to ask him whatever) He is 33,has a ten-year-old son,a wife,was in the army for 4 years,has been to many different countries,and has broken 4 different bones and once someone shot him in a thumb...O_o Painfulness....Anyway,the class is mainly just people I like,no one too annoying,and one of my friends,Susan Felfe,is in there^^ This class and its work are probably one of the most fun and easiest,kinda wish I had it every day:3
