Entry for August 18, 2008
Now usually I have gotten to where I just tell people things by myself or post blogs on myspace. But there will always be things I haven't said to everyone,or people who don't have myspace. So I'm going to post my myspace blog entries here as well. First off,I am not sure why I am even bothering to write a blog,my blog is very very unpopular*glares*....Possibly I'm just giving a vain attempt to finally get you people who are friends and family to read and care about my thoughts???Or maybe I just want a way to be able to write about what's going on as a way to get things off my chest.(I'll explain what I mean by this in a later blog entry)
Where to begin..Where to begin.A couple days ago my family & I decided to go out for a short shopping trip and to go out to eat ,while on the side to take a few photos of us for family, and for you who are reading this now.It was quite fun and even interesting, for such a short "outing". On the way, some random things occured.First,a guy on a motorcycle fell off at a red light out of nowhere.Hopefully it seems he was not hurt,(he got back on,just looked shocked, which I would be too.)It just freaked everyone out and we were all just staring at him in shock.Secondly, there was this guy(teenager, about 15) who was with his dad in his truck(I'm guessing) that looked like Shia LaBeouf!I just thought that was kinda interesting and he looks at me and smiled, idk why.Maybe I just look like someone he knew? But I'm glad that I gave someone a smile, whatever the reason may be.Third, some random object from someone's truck flew out and landed below our car out of nowhere!(ever heard of strapping stuff down man!?)We ran over it before we could've stopped or knew what it was.(no tire damage thou, which is good) But I am still curious and would have liked to know what it was...Anyways,I guess I'll move on. Our first stop was T.G.I Friday's.My mom and one of her best friends had just been there a few days ago,and it was both their first time, and they really enjoyed it.So my mom wanted to take us there so me and my grandma could see how awesome it was.I really enjoyed it and I loved the restaurant. ( I have some photos of all of us in the the restaurant,I'll upload them after this). We all three got the "electric lemonade" that my mom had a few days before. She said we would love it,and we did. It came it a large martini glass, and had an awesome light neon blue color with ice over the top and a lemon in the center. Now normally the "electric lemonade" is an alcoholic beverage, but don't worry,we had it virgin(without alcohol).I had a somewhat typical dinner for my first time there, but the food is so well-prepared and delicious there that something as average as chicken fingers with fries was quite good.Next, was dessert.I got a "Chip's Ahoy Ice Cream Sundae" that was very good, and my mom got a "Vanilla Bean Cheesecake" that she shared with all of us.I absolutely loved both desserts, and look forward to trying more things(not just desserts at T.G.I Friday's.) ;) Next stop,Barnes & Noble's.(my fav. bookstore) We went to a different one than we usually do.Instead of the one we usually go to in Cedar Park, this one was in Austin. The bookstore was two stories instead of the usual one,and right next to it was a GameStop, along with a way to enter GameStop from inside the Barnes & Nobles.Back to the two stories, you could either go up stairs or an escalator to the second floor, which contained some more book sections, along with the cafe.I just mainly browsed for magazines and manga.I was in particular looking for SkipBeat!,which is one of my fav. mangas.(sadly no new volume yet:P)Now I guess I should backtrack, for once I had my own money.I had $100,which my grandma gave me.You see,one of her friends sadly passed away, and had left us some inheritance money.Honestly we had no idea that we would be left anything,we figured it would be her family, but not only did she consider us good enough to be family, but we got the second largest share! Now, for privacy reasons,I will not disclose the sum we recieved. For thou it seems it was not much of a trip,I still enjoyed and found it interesting enough to share with you all.^^I guess its just a way of showing that life is full of surprises. :) 2008-08-19 02:04:54 GMT
