* History *

In the 1890's Gennaro and Francesco Bellino, two brothers from Oriolo, Italy immigrated to the United States. Like many immigrants, their names were "Americanized". The Italian names "Gennaro" and "Francesco" became "James" and "Frank". Their Italian surname "Bellin-o" became "Bellin-e". Since this variation of Bellino is unique to these two brothers, any Belline with roots in the Chicago area is related.
