WHY? 2002-07-25 Why we are so cruel and so out of understanding about innocent children rights to live in a society of humanity and love? Why? That question is more on the table now, because we think
that we are so proud that we are human beings with understanding
kids rights. But is there something wrong with us? Why we are so
selfish and out of compassion these days? Why is the Federal
Government inspiring hatred and spreading misleading information
about children refugees? Maybe it’s time to open our eyes and
look at in that so call refugee crises little bit differently,
for the reason that we are hurting innocent children. We have to ask
ourselves whether it is appropriate locking up the children in detention’s
centres, which look like concentration camp used by Nazis. I must
say that in a 21st century in democratic countries
such camps shouldn’t exist in the first place. It’s not right punishing kids
because their parents came to Australia illegally, looking for help and new
life for their children. Children have to follow the parents. They
don’t have any power to oppose parents’ decision. Any parents in
Australia also decide where they want to live and their children follow
suit. Nobody leaves kids behind. The parents’ obligation is
looking after and protecting their own kids. Mostly all immigrants
(legal or not) couldn’t support and protect their family in a country
of origin, because of political, economical, religion turmoil or
other circumstances. Politicians have forgotten or have they stopped caring
for human rights? The Howard Government have double standards about that
issue particularly when we see very lenient approach against
violent adult and children criminals but very tough standards against
refugees that didn’t commit any crime. Secondly do we have the
right to punish the kids for parent’s crime or decision? We as
Australian’s citizens opposed very strongly any abuse of children and I don’t understand why the government is creating a policy, which provide mental and physical cruelty against them. That approach doesn’t solve the problem of illegal migration, because the Government don’t do enough on international arena in relation to abused human, democratic and freedom rights around the glob. Australia like to keep very good relation with not democratic countries, where human rights simply does not exist. That’s why we, meaning our Government, support regimes, which often force people to flee their own regions because of atrocities and persecution or terror. These people will look for a new place with a peaceful life; of course some will land in an Australian soil. On other hand we should ask the Howard Government how
big is the problem with illegal refugees and can we deal with it
differently and more efficiently. Certainly, but the Government likes to
play tune of terror and hatred and we have to stop continuing that
madness. We have better things to do in our lives than mistreat and harm
innocent children. Doesn’t matter they belong to our society or not. God said all children are mine and please don’t change
that, they all deserve our love. Be human not the mischievous, horrible
