POWER AND SEXUAL ABUSE2001-12-17 Time to speak up Governor General. I don’t think so. We
don’t need that any more. We are fed up of ignorance from
politicians. If they don’t want to understand their moral obligation
regarding to people who they represent, they should step down. No questions
asked. We of course don’t know anything about the personal
involvement of Peter Hollingworth in that matter but ignoring the
problem of sexual abuses particularly children is unspeakable. That
is sad, that personality like Governor General was teaching us about
people moral obligation to others and now he doesn’t have a
little honesty to speak out, or to step down. He has to understand that
he is not any more moral example for us, maybe for perverts but not
for us. Every one who is in a power and didn’t do anything to prevent
us from sexual harassment and abuse morally doesn’t deserve to
represent our country and us. Prime Minister Of Australia and
Queen of England should know that Governor General has to be the best example
of morality for us. Now plenty of people have doubts about
politicians and not only. Are we leaving in democratic country? And
now I am having too many questions about it. How could such
things happened and for so long anybody (particularly politicians) did
nothing or not enough? How paedophiles are so much influential people
in Australia? Of course again come up big question whether we should
be a monarchy? Current monarchy system doesn’t protect us from getting
to the power morally unfit politicians and people. Secondly why
doesn’t Government do anything to improve that system or change monarchy to
republic? Obviously Prime Minister John Howard doesn’t like to
talk about important issues. He is ignoring all problems, which
bother citizens because he doesn’t care. Apparently he still has 3 years
in a power. Election is finished and who will be asking us what we
think. That is typical selfish and conceited behaviour of most
politicians. But you Mr Howard have to remember that we won’t
tolerate immoral and dishonest politicians, because politicians with that
nature are taking our country and us to disaster. I would like to
remind you Mr Howard that politicians make the law and your
responsibility as Prime Minister is protecting all people, particularly
kids from sexual abuse. Victims of such a crime will suffer all
their life. What kind of punishment paedophiles are getting in Australia?
Where is protection, which all victims and their families should
get? Why don’t they get the same protection as politicians and their
families? Tell me Mr Howard that your family is more important than my
family or family of ordinary citizen? In situation, which our
country is now, it’s showing that current democratic system not giving
us enough power to dismiss from power politicians whose don’t
represent us any more or morally don’t have rights to be in that
position. This is why; I am calling to Prime Minister John Howard and Governor
General Peter Hollingworth to step down. I’m not interested any
more about explanation their position about that matter. They have
had enough time for doing that. But they didn’t do it yet. Mr
Howard should step down because he always protects people with moral doubts
(not only). Mr Hollingworth because he has betrayed not only victims
of sexual abuse at the Anglican Toowoomba Preparatory school but
all victims of sexual abuse and their families. Ignorance and
silence is the most disgusting face of our politicians and we should fight
with that because politicians with that manner are ruining our life. We
shouldn’t ever allow them does that? Our life is too precious. Come back to home page |
