TERRORISM 2001-09-14 Terrorism is the worst nightmare of our civilisation. We
face this almost every day around the world. And now what’s happened in USA put us
in very dangerous situation. That cowardly terroristic attack on thousand
innocent civilians will be having big impact on all of us. From that moment not
only American’s life but also our life will be not the same. Again we see
barbaric attack by some group of
terrorists. That shows us that not only we are living in very
dangerous environment but that terrorism getting out of hand. We have to
understand that victims and their families of any terrorist attack will never
get the justice. Doesn’t matter what any governments say. What kind of
justice they can get? We can only talk about punishment. What kind of punishment do terrorists deserve? But that is our democratic system failure. We are giving more protection for criminals and what we are getting in reverse – nothing, only more innocent victims. How soft should we be with terroristic organizations and people associating with them? How we should deal with governments who are protecting terrorists? Now after the biggest terror took place maybe United Nations try to do something about it but what? Can we all sit down to the table and solve that problem? I don’t think so, because we are living in to much dividing world. Arab and Muslim world is too different from other countries with Christian background. Why that’s happened? Because our democratic system is based on constitution and law but Arabic countries are based on Koran and tradition. We are in democratic society talking too much about rights for criminals. Maybe now that tragedy will open ours and politicians eyes. I think that only tough stand against terrorism can help. Zero tolerance for crime against humanity can make the difference. Punishment for them should be very extreme, because that give us guarantee that they won’t ever again hurt us and they never will be having chance enjoy freedom again. The sad story about that is that mostly everything ends only on words. Politicians always do that. And like usually memory about that and others tragedies stay with us forever. I hope we learnt something from that massacre in USA but we will see in the future what’s change. We should never give up our fundamental rights to live in a peaceful world, one-day terrorism has to loose and vanish from our life. Back to home page
