LAW AND ORDER Law is a body of official rules and regulations that is used to govern a society and control the behaviour of its members. Simply law and order make formal rules usually distinguished social control and guides for behaviour such as mores, morality, public opinion, custom and tradition. Now you can see that law and order has nothing to do with justice. Why, because law and order is design for legitimate purpose. That’s meaning that legitimate rules not always
representing justice for victims. These days law is protecting more offenders
than innocent people. Now is question; why government is out of touch
with citizens on this sensitive issue. Why is so important for people
get the justice? Because without justice we can’t move on with our normal
life. Why in a XXI century criminals are getting more rights
than victims? That is very sad that Human Rights Organizations pushing
government for better treatment for criminals but nothing for
victims. Victims of crime want only fair justice for their lose and suffering. But
did they get this? No. What’s happened in our justice system? Why is so
bad? I think that we should start from very important question. Why does the
justice system judge people not for crime, which they committed but
they judge offenders regardless of age, health, sickness or gender.
You can see that system put victims last in a jurisdiction process.
Everyone hope that one-day innocent victims we put first in a justice
system. They deserve protection not criminals. Maybe in the future we will
see law and order which represents
victims. What I mean, is that citizens should have rights to choose own justice system and every
offender should know that law would prosecute them by that system, which
represents the victim. All criminals have to know that if they abused other
people human rights, they have to forget about those rights too. Because
everyone is equal in our society and the justice system should do the same to
both sides of crime – victim and offender. I’m always saying:
criminals deserve fair trial and adequate punishment, which represent fair
justices for victims’ . We have to say to politicians that we have enough of
discriminating victims. We want to stand tough on crime. We would like
to see appropriate justice and protection for all victims. Stop
making any excuses for all criminals. Stop being sorry for offenders
because they do not deserve any mercy. Compassion leave for victims,
they are often suffering all their life. That is sad but true. Maybe
one day we’ll get better justice and law but that is long, long way to go.
