MIGRATION Migration is the most controversial subject to talk about these days. Because Australia is a country created by migrants. In a XXI century we are still face the problem about migration issue. We still don’t know where we stand and where we are going in that subject.
That’s happened because is so big space between people and government on
migration issue. Government doesn’t have exactly any good solution about
that. They are afraid to sit down with citizens and talk about
this. Talk and find solution together with community concerns. People
have plenty of questions about that but they can’t get answer from
the politicians. They like to
avoid that issue because they think that problem is to hot politicly. But we can’t escape from that subject. We have too many questions about this and we should
start from that. Firstly, should Australia open or close our borders for
any migration? If yes, why? If not, how many migrants should come to
Australia per year? What kind of migrant people should arrive to Australia? Poor, rich, healthy, sick, young, old, family members of
Australian citizens or friends, people with high qualifications or
anyone, on humanitarian, business or family preferences. Secondly, what kind of policy should we make for legal
and illegal migration? Particularly what we should do with illegal migration.
What kind of approach we should take in that matter? What about our
moral ethics? What about human rights? What about free travelling?
What about free choice of leaving? Australian government push for free
trade and globalisation. Why than, government doesn’t have
solution about migration? Thirdly, how we should treat illegal migrants?
Government have to make proper law but like usually we see incompetence of our
politicians. They don’t know exactly what to do with that problem. How much cost us illegal migration? How we can avoid so
expensive hospitality for them? What we can and should do with
that? We can find more and more questions (less or more difficult)
but doesn’t matter what government do about migration we should think
through this rationally with open heart, because we deal with human
