REPUBLIC
About a republic are so many debates in Australia. Why we should talk about this again and again? I think that is very important for all Australian take democracy in their hands and do something about it. Because if you think about future, better life, more
equal opportunity for all citizens, democracy and at last if you care
which direction should take our country, yes we should say our view. That is
our responsibility. We can’t leave everything in politician’s hands. They
don’t like loose their powers. They do everything to minimize people
(citizens) rights. Republic gives us equal opportunity (less or more – that
depends from what kind of system we choose) to achieve all positions
in public, private or government sector. Monarchy system put us in situation
where position of Queen and King is accessible only for family members.
We have to respect them, greeting and salute to them not
because they deserve this or they have achieved that by hard work for
community. Only because their parents have worn a crown. They got
privilege of power in our existing democracy system based on family matters
not that because we have had any influence to employ them. Why is that
wrong? Because, everyone has right get position or apply for any
position in our community and who is the best or who the most deserve it because
