Poetry by Janelle

I SHALL

I shall always bless you;
Your image will stay with me
all imbued with poetry and tenderness,
As the nights moon is bathed
in the milky vapour of its mist

I shall whisper words
into the ear of a blue-bird
So his wings
will carry you through life,
His eyes,
will see your future and the rocks on the path
So his beak and claws
will always protect your heart
And with his majestic powers he
will carry your soul into the heavens.

I will always stand as your confidant,
Along with the only three things
which are infinite
The sky in its stars
The sea in its drops of water
and the heart in its tears.

I shall have faith in
What treasures are to be found in
the bouyant pages of ones life;
just like a tree in the fiery season of Autumn,
casts its leaves
So to do we cast out memories.

I shall pray that Deep love
will always find you
As a Cormorant must dive,
a Rose must agrow
As Neptune breathes
a Ocean is deep,
So to must you live and love
until the sphinx winks
and we are cast off into
the obliveration of eternity.
