Perp world arrives
Late at night
AFTER DARK
When perpetrators
Come out to dance
To match and mate
Like the cockroaches
In slum apartments
Stalkers are perpetrators
Of a similar disfavor
Their vile forms
Move as aliens
Across shadows
They aren't human
Beneath their skins
They aren't motivated
By human needs
They aren't touched
By human feelings
They simply feed
Off victims' terror
When absent
They feed off hate
When absent
They feed off need
To evoke anything
To be a part
Of something human
In some remote way
They aren't human
Beneath their skins
They are deficits
Miswired and misplaced.

**This work is yet another example of this author's terror changed to anger. The title of this work does not indicate that victims should cease viewing their stalkers as dangerous predatory individuals. Indeed stalkers are both predatory and dangerous; however, they are also cowards. Victims, please do not become complacent with your security measures due to the deceptively pitiful behaviors of your stalker. A stalker is another type of domestic abuser and he can become hazardous, even lethal, at any moment. **This work is not designed to indicate that stalkers are not human in a literal sense. This work additionally does not indicate that perpetrators only lurk at night. It is fact that perpetrators are active during daylight hours as well as during the night.
