| Cyris Questions to Lady Lost Via email: @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ 1) I'm looking at these perp mails from 2001. Why did the perp want a horse of his choosing and $10,000? I'm not 100% sure why. I'd guess, and in my own mind I know, that the primary reason the A-P (alleged perpetrator) made this coercive, blackmail, demand was because he knew how much I loved my horses, that they were like children to me, and he wanted to scare me and hurt me as much as possible. The "choosing" part, which the A-P even managed to misspell in his eagerness to get that terrorizing email off to me, would have enabled the A-P to pick out my favorite horse and take it away from me if I'd been stupid enough to give in. When I first broke up with the A-P in October 2000, he threatened to make me lose everything I cared about and he enumerated my horses, my child, my home, my marriage, etc. I guess this specific blackmail attempt was the A-P's overt short cut to try to succeed in this part of his threats. The $10,000 on top of it, maybe he wanted to buy more new stalking gadgets. Or maybe he combined his desire for easy money and more stalking gadgets with an added slap in my face -- like, in his head, he was going to take away my most loved horse plus get paid some serious money for doing it. Other than this, the A-P didn't have anyplace to keep a horse. He didn't own a house at all, much less a house with horse property. Boarding a horse out at someone else's ranch is pretty expensive, about $150.00 per month on the extremely cheap end, and an average of $200.00 per month on the typical end. His brother owned, and still owns, a horse property, but he has two grown stallions in one pen, so the A-P couldn't have brought another horse in there safely. The stallions would have fought over the new horse, perhaps even fighting with the new horse and killing it. So it doesn't make sense other than that the A-P thought it would be a great way to really tear me up emotionally. 2) What would the perp have done with the horse? I figure the A-P would have abused it, killed it or sold it to a bad home just to hurt me some more. The A-P is not a horse person, he knows nearly nothing about horses and as far as I could ever tell he has no love at all for horses. I never saw any evidence whatsoever, when I knew the A-P, that he ever aspired to own horses or be around horses. I never heard him talk about wanting to own a place and buy some horses. The only talk in that avenue was when I wanted to go full board again with my horse rescue and horse training and he wanted to tell me how to do it even though he didn't have a clue in the world about horses or the horse business. 3) I read on the svanludwick site that the restraining order against the perp runs out this February 2003? Yes that's true, except it's a Court Order of Protection because I'm not and never was related to the A-P through family or marriage. 4) And you think the perps going to start showing up or calling you? It's a likely possibility. I believe the A-P will probably begin with the phone calls, emails and letters again. He'll likely try to terrorize me and coerce me in similar overt ways as he did before. The Court Order of Protection keeps the A-P at the covert level of domestic terrorism. 5) What do you mean when you say covert domestic terrorism? I'm referring to covert hidden stalking activities, like: Belly slithering around my place at night when it's too dark for me to see him; sneaky surveillance; trying to figure out what he can do to vandalize or harm the Easy Pickens without getting spotted; perhaps stealing mail or trying to see how he can get into my house or the primary co-victim's place or property without being seen; dumpster diving; stalking the primary co-victim who doesn't call the police because he still thinks ignoring the A-P might eventually work; website stalking; researching avenues of future attacks; locating and harassing people that aren't covered by the Court Order; etc. Basically whatever he thinks he can do without risking getting caught by the police for breaking the Court Order of Protection. 6) So what's the biggest difference between covert and overt in your case? Well, overt includes the A-P sending direct letters and emails to me and calling me on the phone. In the overt mode the A-P might be a little bit more bold about his spying on me. Other than these things, there really is no difference. To vandalize, get his hands on mail or items from inside my house or the co-victim's, harm the Easy Pickens and really terrorize us he has always done covert garbage. So the Court Order of Protection does no more than prevent the A-P from writing me or calling me directly. A lot of stalkers will continue direct contact attempts with their victim even after a Restraining Order or Court Order of Protection has been served, but others, like my A-P is more careful than that. It all depends on how much self-control they can muster in their own personal determination to get away with the stalking long-term. I believe that the more of a psychopath or sociopath the A-P is the more cool control he'll likely have. Just like the famous psychopaths throughout history, they didn't blow up and go postal right off the bat either and that's why they were able to repeatedly commit heinous crimes for many years. 7) Do you know when date the Court Order runs out? I don't recall exactly, but I think it's really close to February, 14, 2003. I know it's around mid February. 8) I like your stalker tree. Have you heard feedback about it? No not yet. I didn't really expect to hear anything about the tree. I just created it to express my feelings about the A-P and how the A-P has perpetrated on holidays before. 9) What did you do with those info tags on the tree? I took the tree down on New Years day 2003 and I put all the catharsis notes in the burn can and incinerated them. I didn't see any logical reason to keep them around the house because to me it's only a matter of time before the A-P tries to get in and those notes would be a really tasty potential theft item. To me, I put those notes on the tree for myself, not for the A-P, and if the A-P stole them while the Court Order of Protection was in effect, well then he'd be breaking the law. But if the A-P stole them out of my place after the Court Order expired, then he could say other things, like he could lie and say I sent him the notes or gave them to him or whatever. 10) Will I get to see those perp pics with the face some day? It's possible. If the A-P does something additional that's rotten enough, I don't know, I might get so sick of him that I'll release the information or it might become necessary to release it. But this added stalking deed would have to be pretty bad and very violent. Otherwise I won't place myself at risk, Gunther won't place himself at risk, and I won't lower myself to the A-P's level unless he does something that begs for it -- like a homicide or �.. Well, I'll leave that one up in the air for now.
