Cyril, Oklahoma?
The City of Cyril recently built a new Cyril Rodeo Complex just north of the Fairgrounds. The new arena is really nice and was completed in time for the 2002 rodeo.

The town's newest organization, the Cyril Beautification Committee, was formed July 2001. Their first big project is the renovation of the old deteriorating lot located South of Scoggin's Home Furnishings and across from the Ambulance Service building. The Cyril Town Plaza is located beside Highway 277 that runs through the middle of town and will greatly enhance the aesthetic appearance of the area as well as provide a nice place for social gatherings. The park features a 10 foot gazebo, Victorian style lampposts, benches for seating, a memorial of our town's birthday, a mural that depicts scenes from our community and it's culture (such as the refinery, Cyril water tower, Historical House, our Indian heritage, wheat & farming, Keechi Mountains, etc), and the mural is framed by a brick tower featuring personlized bricks that were sold as a fundraiser for the project. The Cyril Town Plaza is completely done, except for the lettering on the front sign. It looks really nice - each one of you should go down there and look through all the personalized bricks and rest your feet under our new gazebo!
The City of Cyril used $24,000 to reconstruct a colorful and adventurous new playground at Keith Coleman park. The new equipment was built to replace the old playground that was built many years ago and needed an uplift. The new park was completed early this summer and has already had plenty of kids help break it in!
