On our vacation after we returned from Santa Rosa National Park, we met up with Ryan's mom, Cory and Bruce. They came all the way to Costa Rica to visit and see all the things there are to do around here. We went to the Cloud Reserve again and had all our pictures taken next to a boa-constrictor vine (see left). Ryan's mom had her picture taken in the "poor man's umbrella" plant (see upper right) and our guide used berries to draw artwork on our hands. Later in the week we went to Arenal Volcano, which involved a boatride across Lake Arenal. We also went to the Serpentario, Frog Pond, the Cheese Factory and on a Twilight Walk, but unfortunately do not have pictures of those activities. Aside from that we took Cory to Taberna (a local bar) and ran into two of our guides and two of the waiters from the Monteverde Lodge where the family stayed. |
