4th Annual DC CAG Fishin April/May 1999

Many Familiar CAG Faces showed up this Year

Wake me up when the carp come back to eat again!
Man this sleeping pad smells fishy!!
Carpaholic at the 4th Annual DC Fishin 99

Among the cherry trees in the spring old PBs can quickly fall.
Stephen K. (Baltimore, MD) gets a new PB of 16 pounds on PESCAVIVA all by himself.

David M. came all the way from Oklahoma to catch a 26 pound Fully Scaled Mirror.

Paul O. flew in from the UK just for a picture with the capitals cherry trees and to recatch Davids 26 pound Fully Scaled Mirror.

Fishing Friday at the Tidal Basin Quid pulls out a prefishin BFC, 33 pounds of monument gold. This is a rare picture, not due to Quid holding a 33, but just having a picture of the Quid!

Paul P. (one of the CAGs Vice Presidents, President of Whacker Baits) with his first DC carp catches.

Phil S. (VA) 26 pound Fully Scaled mirror.

Warren Bird (WV CAG Chair) with a nice carp and the all to familiar river cat.

Brian N. "Carpaholic" braved the nightime winds for these beautiful basin carp (AZ CAG Chair), 20 and 24 pounders.

Craig "Carpier" shows two nice doubles out of 6 up to 16 pounds for the weekend.

Ed W. (NY) with a nice tidal basin common.

Nigel with a goldfish X carp hybrid, note the scale pattern is different from a common carp.

Steve L. and Chuck W., Pennsylvania pay lakers, showed us what American doughballs really are. Steve drew the peg closest to the tourists which of course kept asking Steve if there were any fish in the tidal basin.

Hans (Netherlands) with a 23 pound common.

Jeff M. (Wayne M. Son) with a 14 and Flip S. of Philladelphia with his 29. Somebody forgot to take a picture of Waynes BFC, but lets just say it would not have won the big fish pool.

Oat (CAG Potomac River) finally gets a picture in a DC fishin.

DC Fishin Host, DC/MD CAG Chair, Pat Kerwin.
