The Cypress Woods Roleplay was created on March 1st, 2003 at Yahoo! Groups. The roleplay is still up and running today. Although the roleplay has been up for three years, it is still very active. Many storylines are involved and most of the main characters are taken. Many things have happened in the roleplay such as marriages, births, deaths, and more. When a new member joins, we try to help them learn about the past experiences their character has experienced because it's easier to keep all the history the same with so many characters being involved with one another.

This site was originally created for two roleplays--Cypress Woods and Twisted Secrets. The site was originally titled "Dark Secrets". The Twisted Secrets roleplay was no longer mentioned on the website when it died out so when the time came for the website to be redesigned, the title was changed to "Cypress Woods" to focus more on the active roleplays.
