The NATIONAL SOCIETY OF PHYSICS STUDENTS provides student members with:

A year's subscription to Physics Today
The publication of the American Institute of Physics
The journal of undergraduate research in physics in The SPS Newsletter

Students also become individual members of the American Institute of Physics. This makes all services of the AIP available to SPS members either at a greatly reduced cost or for free. The national SOCIETY of PHYSICS STUDENTS also sponsors scholarships, research grants, travel grants to international meetings, and a Lecture Demonstration competition.

National Dues are $20

Joining the Cypress College chapter, you will be able to gather with fellow students and discuss matters involving Physics, attend field trips to JPL, conferences, and seminars, perform science demonstrations for the local community, volunteer work with instructors and lab technicians, and just have a great time.

The Cypress College chapter meets on Tuesdays on the second Floor of the Science and Mathematics building (SEM) in front of Dr. Armale's office at 5 pm. Anyone interested in joining is welcome to attend any of our meetings. If you have a time conflict and cannot attend the meetings but are still interested in joining, contact the President.
