First off I would like to thank all fo those individuals who came to the concert a couple of weeks ago. Your support was very appreciated...even though some of you came really late...and if you were Korean, you crammed yourselves to one corner and for the majority of the time talked throughout the entire thing. In any case, I would like to thank all of the people who poured out all the hard work in making this concert happen. That ultimately would be me, Paul and Ben...who if you didn't know are all the members of the band. I would like to thank me more because I'm an ego maniac that can't see past my own Star Trek uniform.
I would also like to thank some people who helped at the last minute. Jimmy, Bess, those two guys who hang around Ben THANKS. Forgive me not using an exclaimation point, it doesn't work on this keyboard. A special word of gratitude should also go to Steve Mclernon our opening act. Who's music about the penis, masturbation and viagina envy enlightened us all. The folks at Adrian's cafe also played a important role for the concert as well. Without it...we pretty much wouldn't have had a place to perform.
Although the night was full of appreciations, they were also locked with much disapointment. I really was expecting some AASU members to show up and tell us, "what they think of our insipid band." If you take a look at their message board (which I have linked on the main page) you will see how eager they were to express their opinon of the Vetivers.
Well I've spoken enough now. Time to pack up the papers and the trash and get some spending cash. Time to head off into the sunset and sing happy trails. We're off to see the Wizard, the wonderful wizard of OZ. Please don't take away my herlomes Mr. Customs man....you know....bye for now. |
