David Rees and Sarah Watkins of Glamorgan, Wales

David REES and Sarah WATKINS, both of Glamorgan, Wales, emigrated to New Castle, Lawrence Co., PA - David in 1895 and Sarah in 1899. Sarah had at least two brothers, John WATKINS and David G. WATKINS. After the family left Pennsylvania, they moved to Martins Ferry, Belmont Co., Ohio and finally settled in Wellsburg, Brooke Co., West Virginia. Their children were:

Susan (Sue) REES, born about 1901 in New Castle, Lawrence Co., PA, who married 13 Sep 1921 in Wellsburg, Brooke Co., WV, Floyd LOWERY, born about 1900 in New Martinsville, Wetzel Co., WV.

The wife of David John REES, Agnes Ethel KING, was the daughter of George KING of Illinois and Ruth WEBB who was born in Westbury, Wiltsire, England to Jacob WEBB and Elizabeth HARRIS. Agnes' brothers and sisters were Walter KING, James KING, Jacob A. KING, Hannah KING, Lily KING, Edith KING and Bertha KING.
