87 PERMANENT WORK ATTITUDES

(Read, Write, and Recite from Memory Until Permanent)

1. Imagine how a conscious man would act.

2. Make efforts when it's difficult to make efforts, this builds being.

3. Self-remembering, non-identifying; become a fused, conscious center-of-gravity.

4. Lying kills essence.

5. See in yourself what you dislike in others.

6. See parts in relation to their whole.

7. Aim to please God rather than man.

8. Use everything for awakening.

9. Supreme Formula: To non-identify take nothing seriously except the Work.

10. Separation is the starting point of another body.

11. Ponder your own death, and the death of others, for perspective in the moment.

12. Real Will knows nothing of the external world; this is the secret.

13. There is no wisdom nor understanding nor counsel against the Lord.

14. Creation ordains one must have self-mastery before Higher Centers.

15. Real Will gratitude over self-will resentment.

16. You are responsible for what you have understood.

17. For all impressions substitute conscious meaning for mechanical meaning.

18. Say, "This 'I' currently manifesting through me is not Real I."

19. Outwardly play a role, inwardly never identify.

21. Like what 'it' doesn't like.

22. See everybody as God's own child in different stages of development.

23. It is understanding that raises a hero above all others.

24. Think in degree rather than absolutes.

25. Never complain, never explain.

26. I am a child of the starry heavens and the earth, but my origin is of the heavens alone.

27. There is a school, there is a hierarchy, there is a Kingdom.

28. The Oracles of God [KJV] challenge your level of being.

29. Think and act from the Work [New Thinking] when experiencing friction of some manner; think and act without Self-Justifying or accusing.

30. The Work is not about being good or feeding vanity but about making contact.

31. Judge things by what is useful to awakening and what is not.

33. See all perceived negativity as a gift and an opportunity.

34. Actively discriminate between true and false; fact and illusion; reality and imagination.

35. Look with pity and without anger upon those who live evilly.

36. Allow unto others the victory; taking unto oneself the defeat.

37. Don't imagine vain things.

38. Don't identify with what wounds when your vanity and pride gets wounded.

39. Use the external world of people, places, things, and events as a mirror for self-observation.

40. When you're at the level where there's nowhere to go you have to then find the unreal places.

41. The real difference between humans becomes apparent upon the death of the physical body.

42. All fortune can be mastered by endurance, persistence, and boldness.

43. Visualization makes the connection between knowledge and will; the reins between driver and horses.

44. Lead an army; found a city; found an empire.

45. To be successful at accomplishing goals you have to have faith things won't fall apart, the world won't end, and conditions, performance, and outcome don't have to be perfect. Then you do things right and steadily.
