             find problems and solutions encountered by the main character
Fingerprint Study
We looked at various types of fingerprints...arches, whorls and loops.  Students traced their handprint and stamped their fingerprints at the tip of each finger.  We then discovered if our prints were arches, whorls or loops.

After reading Me, Too by Mercer Mayer, we completed this Brother/Sister Venn Diagram.
Classroom
Students used cut outs to illustrate their family.
Our Kindergarten Family Quilt
After reading and discussing Building A House students discussed what kind of shelter they lived in.  We completed this graph and students then drew their home.
