Welcome to the Sanger Family Reunion Site!

This site has taken a LONG time to produce, but we feel that it will be well worth the effort that's been made. While you may not know every detail of every Sanger's life (as is not only their want, but to your benefit in the long run, considering) you might come away with a sound understanding of what it means to be a Sanger.

The Sanger population in any given universe is often a vast one. However, rare universes are they that actually have a population at all. The difficulty in maintaining a population is purely due to one reason: Julian Renaud - aka Jon Byers, Reginald Foxgrove, Jonbyer, and any number of other aliases. This single man is capable of destroying the Sanger population before it gets off the ground, so watch out for him and his *very* rare descendants.

This site will link to other sites when needed - Sangers are found in all parts of the multiverse and doing many different things. Not the least of which is shapeshifting, and pairing up with dragons. When not doing either of those, Sangers tend to be in the sciences rather than arts, and tend to teach or invent rather than do things overtly popular in the public eye. Many Sangers are healers, gifted with not only a sound background in any universe of anatomy and genetics, but also they are quick to recognize problems and solve them as they see fit. Though at first they may seem impulsive, it is only where they do best, that they assume control. Normally they are docile, submissive things. Or, so says Julian. He would know. He's killed enough of us.

In 1999 on Gothic Earth (the Earth found within the spheres of not only the Call of Cthulhu universe, but Buffy the Vampire Slayer and the White Wolf worlds), the Sanger family there had a massive reunion physically taking place in the Takahara Ranch, in the east part of San Diego County. There, everyone - from the four-footers brought supposedly as 'pets' by distant kin, to the Fey and Spiritual relatives - has donated either a blood or genetic sample for research purposes. Some of the Sangers present are quite exceptional genetic engineers and intend to see what it is about their dna that makes them either crazy or shapeshifters - more often both.

Late in the year 2000, however, another of their distant Dopplegangers did something that the local progenitor Istvan was also capable of doing (and did, and did several times in fact with the help of his daughter Ilyana to get it in reverse) - he "broke" reality. By using a theoretically devised machine, this Sanger (residing in the middle of the Alabaster Building in Talon City near the ruins of LA) opened up a permanent Nexus portal between worlds. ALL worlds. The first thing attracted to a portal such as that? Dragons. Of course.

The types of dragons that the Sangers have paired up with across different universes do have one thing in common - they can teleport to other places. Because of that, almost any version of a Sanger can wind up with a dragon. That is not to say that all Sangers have dragons, nor that every world needs them at all. Most don't. Those are usually the ones with the most shapeshifters present.
