| Christopher's Sleepy Place Somedays it's still hard to believe that I have a son, a baby, a child of mine buried out in Rosedal Cemetary. It still seems like a dream, or should I say nightmare. Christopher's death goes against the natural order of things. Your born, you live a full life, and grow to be an old man or woman then you die and your children bury you. Tragically with Christopher it was not to be that way. His light flickered and diminished before it even had the chance to burn. The pictures on this page are of where Christopher now lays, where he will sleep peacefully for eternity. Christopher Andrew Cameron was laid to rest on Thursday March 13, 2003. This date was also his expected due date. Here is Christopher's tiny grave. The first few times I went out there I sat down beside it and cried and rubbed the top like you would a baby's back. Now it's not so hard on me to go and visit. I've come to accept that he has died and it may hurt like hell but I take comfort in knowing that someday we will be together once again. This is sadly the only way my children who are with me will know their baby brother. By yearly visit's on his anniversary. It's sad to think they have this brother but yet they don't at the same time. They have all done so well with the loss of their baby brother. I am so proud of all my babies! In the picture from left to right is Andrew, Breigh, Jayda, and Sydney |
Here are the entrance gates into Rosedale Cemetary located in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan This is where Christopher will peacefully sleep for eternity. These little floral arrangements each have an Angel in the center of them. The pin wheel was picked out by big brother Andrew. He took such care in picking it out it had to be just right. The bunny which is there but sorta hidden we took out to him at easter. We also released baloons with little blue and white roses and messages attached to the strings. This is something we hope to do every year on the anniversary of his birth and death. |
