| Who Dwells Within |
| There's a story I want my life to tell, For when I claim that Jesus dwells within I want others to see Him there as well. I can't say that I'm a child of the King, nor be called a joint heir with Jesus if my words and deeds carry satan's sting and with them I tear others all to pieces. I've no right to lift my voice and sing, nor praise His holy name if others I seek to criticize and defame and by my actions hurt and heartache bring. For by these things the story that I tell would not be the glorious one of Jesus dwelling within but rather that my heart is just an empty shell. Cynthia J. Nichols 2001 |
