Answer: From the beginning, we felt that a lot of people did not believe in our ability to form a successful band. That is where the name cynic comes from. It is about us rising up as a group and achieving what we knew we could do.
Question: How did the band form?
Answer: The band formed as the result of an idea by Ryan and T.J. It was more along the lines of a "what if" and the band was created.
Question: What are your lyrics about?
Answer. We like to write about everyday life. Be it relationships, addictions, just stuff people deal with but don't always have a means to let it all out. It's all about letting people know they are not alone. Other people deal with the same problems and it's all about finding a common ground. I don't want to break it down more than that, the songs can be related however you want them to be.
Question: What are your plans for a CD?
Answer: We all plan to release some sort of demo this Summer (2005). Hopefully it should contain 4 or 5 songs at the minimum.
