| Chapter One- In the Begining there was Seven... | ||||||
| In the year 1891 the Seven Elders arrived in Vancouver, each carrying the letter delievered to them by the fallen Prince's ghouls. Each letter contained an error, each letter told the elder that he or she shall be Prince of this fledgling city. When the First Comers arrived at the first Salon. Antonius, Don Corleone, Kismet and Ronwe the Black discovered the awful truth. They were not to be given this city. The fallen Prince had promised it to seven different elders. The Prince's ghouls begged for forgiveness, hoping to survive the evening. The elders were merciful and began debating this new difficulty. A decision had to be made. Seizing the moment Ronwe the Black seized the Throne and became Prince. Two weeks later when the remaining elders arrived they were confronted with the true situation. Led by Renard of the Gangrel, they delcared Ronwe's Princedom to be invalid since the First Comers had not waited and not all voices were heard. A new vote was taken and Antonius of Clan Brujah was granted Princedom. | ||||||
| Chatper Two- The First Bloodhunt | ||||||
| In 1901 Antonius's first test as Prince arrived in the form of a Nosferatu neonote named Kelly Jones. She breached the Masquerade by killing a kine and allowing a wittness to see her be shot twice without wound. Although not immedietely found out she was caught in 1906 and put to Final Death. The breach was perfectly concealed and there was no negative repricusions. Yet. Prince Antonius has passed his first test of being a Prince. | ||||||
| Chapter Three- The First Death by Lupnies | ||||||
| In 1911 the skies turned dark in Vancouver in mouring. In the night a scream cut short was heard. The first kindred to be murdered in Vancouver had finally died. His name was Asmodeus and he fell to lupines. Ambushed from behind Asmodeus the progeny of Ronwe the Black was cut down. What shall Prince Antonius do? Shall he strike back at the werewolves or shall hope it was merely bad lcuk that Asmodeus died. The next few years shall reveal this. | ||||||
| Chapter Four- War! | ||||||
| In 1916 with the shadow of war in europe the darkness of battle spread to Vancouver. It seems the attack of the Lupines five year hence was the begining of a grander offensive. The savage beast attacked the University of British Columbia and made ready threats to the Kindred of Vancouver. Under siege the Tremere Elder, Ronwe the Black asked the Prince for aid. Together and acting for the greatest good the elders flexed their influece to make lives busy for the Luines. Will this effort be enough to diswade the rapaging hordes? The Kindred pray so.. | ||||||
| Chapter Five- Then there was Six... | ||||||
| The year 1921 would prove to be a pivotal year for Vancouver. The great ecominic boom of the Roaring Twenties was begining and Prohibition had started in the States bringing with it money and mob. The economic boom was started partly by the large influx of Ventrue arriving in the previous decade. Unfortunetly this number of Ventrue made the city nervous it look like the Ventrue maybe planning a coup d'etat. And on the eve of the Salon in 1921 it proved true. Found guilty of breaking the Tradition oft the Masquerade Ignatius of Clan Ventrue was blood hunted by Prince Antonius. Ignatius, as he had once been a trusted elder of the city, was given time to flee and this he did taking his entire clan with him into the night. | ||||||
| Chapter Seven- The Conclusion | ||||||
| With the depture of the entire Ventrue clan Vancouver's economy slowed to a crawl. The Great Depression hit Vancouver harder than any other city on the West Coast. Poverty and depression wept the streets. Ignatius used his considerable power to declare Vancouver Anathema to all Ventrue. No Ventrue would dare enter Vancouver until this Edict was resended. Even with Vancouver becoming the West Coast hub for all opium, herion and smuggling the economic recovery was slow. The utter destruction of the provinces forest ressources also helped, but Vancouver is still not the dream city Prince Antonius wished for. Ignatius's vengeance has been terrible. Although Antonius still rules, and rules well, his temper is growing ever shorter. For his dream is now his nightmare. No one tells tales of the glorious Vancouver, in fact most people have never heard of it. Sometimes Antonius's screams of rage can be head achoing across the city. No Kindred travel to Vancouver. The courts are sullen and dull. Only the pale reminders of the once great days remain with little to look forward to. And this is how the word ends, not with a roar but with a whimper. |
