CYNICAL PLOY hail from New Plymouth, New Zealand.
Formed in mid 1997, this 4-piece have their own brand of phat as heavy Rock 'n Roll.
Known for thir high octane performances these guys have built a strong following in thir
home town, but now the world awaits.
Quotes as "going off like a bumblebee in a jam jar" and "AC/DC meets Shihad on Steriods!"
"The best headbanging experiance since........... the last time they played!".
They have supported such acts as The D4, The Rock n Roll machine, Atomizer (aust),
Sticky Filth, Inebriation, Wrath, and many more forgotten in a drunken haze of
sweaty-balled Rock 'n Roll.
CYNICAL PLOY have recently recorded and released thir debut ep. called "Enjoy"
with 4 tracks which opens with crowd favorite "More for us" (the party song) and
weaves its way through some of the ploys earliest and most memerable (sp?) tracks.
They are also going to record a new ep./lp. ("we cant decide how many tracks to put
on" -Cam) later on this year which will have some of those hot new crispy tracks that
shows just how seriously these guys take this band.
These guys are not to be missed so do yourself a favor and check em out.
