Our Wedding Day July 7, 1990
It was a beautiful day and one of the only weekends that it didn't rain that summer! We had a storybook wedding as far as I'm concerned. Everything was perfect and so beautiful. It was a wonderful day.
He's all mine now!!!
Our wedding cars were my dad's 1958 Cadillac Eldorado Brougham (shown), his 1957 Cadillac Eldorado Biarritz and my 1958 Cadillac. I wanted those cars for my wedding party so bad. It was so much better than having a limo!
I found my dress one day and knew it was the perfect one. Somehow you just know when you find your wedding dress. It was so expensive though. I went out to shop for my bridesmaid dresses a couple weeks after finding this dress. I didn't want to try on more dresses but my girls talked me into it. I literally closed my eyes and picked out 4 dresses. To my surprise "my" dress was in those dresses! It was a lot cheaper than the place I had originally seen it. I called my mom,she came down to see it and said yes! I was so happy I cried. It was exactly what I wanted. It had a catherdral length train with an extended 4 ft, a high back neck  cut out in front and all the beautiful lace and beads.
When I got married I couldn't imagine being any more in love than I was that day. It is amazing how as you grow and mature together, you fall deeper into love. We have been through so much together since we were married and God has made sure that all those trials have only brought us closer together. The wedding was wonderful but the marriage is even more beautiful! We truly have "A Groovy Kind of Love"
