Cd News updated July 31, 2001
Cyndi's new cd, Shine, is set for release in early September. It's a very exciting collection of music. Shine features a new version of Who Let in the Rain and final versions of those songs that were getting passed around on Napster since earlier this year: Rather Be With You, Higher Plane, Water's Edge, Wide Open and This Kind of Love. When I heard the demo versions, available on Napster, I thought they were awesome, but since I've heard the final versions of these songs they are even better!!! But the title song, Shine, is probably my favorite from this cd although It's Hard to Be Me and Water's Edge are close runners up. All songs are co-written by Cyndi and I think this album wil be a hit...or at least it should be with proper marketing. The album will be released on EAR (Edel America Records). Look for it in September - show your support!!
