Born March 12, 1970. Adam is a city boy. He is tall with dark blond hair, good looking and friendly. He deliberately gets along with people and is intelligent and confident.
His family sent him to law school where he met Elizabeth Farrow (ShadowCross). She was practicing on parallel bars after hours and he thought she was the most beautiful thing he'd ever seen. He began tutoring her and they were married within a few months.
One night Elizabeth was attacked coming home when he was working late. He blamed himself and when she returned to gymnastics and began taking self defense classes, he supported her although the moments when she seemed distant and cold were becoming more frequent.One night when he came home, she was waiting for him and introduced him to ShadowCross. He had strong reservations but didn't say anything, even though just thinking about his wife dealing with the dregs of society makes his skin crawl.
After several weeks he thought she would be ready to end her ShadowCross 'phase' and Adam suggested retiring before she got hurt.
Adam brought it up several times and was surprised when she wouldnt give in, blaming it wrongly on her uncle's influence. Adam wants her to be the girl she used to be, a loving wife, future mother, beautiful hostess and supporter of his political ambitions.
They considered a trial separation but neither really wants that, and then he was offered a better job in Gotham and they both thought the change would do them good. ShadowCross had become distinctly un-Elizabeth to him, although Elizabeth was becoming more herself, when ShadowCross didnt interfere. Both kept up a happy facade of marriage and are civil, even happy sometimes. Adam works late often, so she took up with the gotham Maintenance during one of his absences, a dark hero group.
Adam hit the roof when ShadowCross told him. She left and spent the night at her uncle's. After NightShade's heist of Gotham Museum she was missing for days.
Adam is fed up with this ShadowCross nonsense and wants his wife back. His time of being patient is over, and he intends to submit her to psychiatric counselling (quietly of course) if he ever gets his hands on Elizabeth again.
