| You can tell they went to Telford... or can you? | ||||||||||||||||

| Have you ever walked down a bustling street on a hazy June afternoon, spotted someone and thought "They went to Telford"? Yes, me too. Do not worry, there's hundreds more just like you who think exactly the same. Sometimes we can be acurate with our presumptions, but on other occasions we can be totally wrong. Take, for example, Daniel Jax (29). He studied Computing at Napier, and Mrs P Achtung from Corstorphine was certain he went to Telford. Similarly, James Cockin (32) studied Business Management at Jewel & Esk Valley, but June Whitbread of Musselburgh believed he was a Telford child. Much more concerning is Mr Jack Punter's misjudgement - he thought Ashley Twonk (26) was a Telford genius, but in fact she has never even set foot inside a college or university. What can be done to stop these blunders? Thankfully Telford are taking measures to ensure no more mistakes are made, with an advertising campaign which will eventually show the name and face of every person who has furthered their education with them. Although this is in it's infancy, we hope that soon the confusion will stop. I have currently set up a database of non-Telford citizens, and you too can be included on this to help fight the cause!
