Grandpaw "Impson" and Me

If this little fellow looks happy thats because he is. What is it that make's grandparents's so much fun, I'm not sure, but I can tell you this, it sure was fun to go and visit with them. The house was simple, there was no paint on the walls or celings, the furnishings were plain and worn. There floors were wooden and if you stepped in just the right place they would creak and pop. Somehow it was all very special, my mom was born in that  house.  I remember that old "Window Fan" and when you adjusted the window in the bedroom just right  there was a wonderful cool breeze on a hot summer night......... I can also remember grandmaw coming into the bedroom and saying "cover your head"  then she would comense to spaying for those mosquito's I still remember the sound of that old flint gun......When you where there you felt something very special. There was a sense of honesty, wisdom, fairness, but most of all there was a feeling of LOVE and it was soooo much fun..........
