Lack of Updates but...
I know there has been a lack of updates for the past few months but I have had a busy few months. As such the game has taken a back step in being developed and tested. I have lost contact with my main tester and my other testers are putting in the odd game when they can. I have come up with a few new supporting units and several new constructable city upgardes that would add more depth to the game but again not much in the way of testing has been going on rescently. On the same note I have scrapped the Battlefleet Gothic game and began work on a different theme for COW but that is being created when an idea gets sparked in my head. Will update again soon.

NEW UNITS!
3 new standard 15M Aircraft; The Sepcat Jaguar, MQ-9 Reaper Drone, and the Joint Strike Fighter (F-35) and now 2 new standard 20M units; the Harrier Jump Jet and the Iowa Class Battleship. Additionally new special 20M units include; Kiev Class Carrier, HMS Ark Royal, and HMS Illustrious.
Still currently working out how the new 30M Units, rockets, and cities will work in game. I'm thinking of postponing the new 30M units and continue testing the Random Event cards also adding the new standard and special 15M and 20M units.

New 5M standard unit added: Marines. One of the few Standard units that can't be bribed and one of the few that can be joined to a Naval attack during the attack phase.
30M units in the works for a new winning objective. Instead of attacking, rearming and then attacking again until the other player's Capital has fallen, the new objective and 30M units are centered around the first player to build a complete space rocket in an attempt to get into space. Of course a majority of the 30M cards will be just components in which you will need 3-5 to build a rocket ship and then launch it in the Attack Phase. In the deck somewhere though will be a complete rocket that could be launched straight from the off. However in order to get to the space race objective you will need many Science Cities not to mention the new City Type; .......... (not yet named) ......
Also in the works are additional Standard 15M and 20M Special units as they seem to be the least varied compared to the other three decks.

I have started a Wahammer 40,000 Battlefleet Gothic version of the game but using an almost completely new system that revolves around building, defending and attacking using small to massive starships. I plan to have a Mass system in which players agree on a total mass amount to decide how many parts their ship can have and any extra ships they could make from left over Mass. The on board units such as Space Marines, Storm Troopers, Terminators, etc will have the same Strength, Tactics, Defence, Abilities as the COW system so they can be imported into a game as either a new deck or part of the others in the game.

The first deck of Random Event cards have been finished but have yet to be tested; however I have a good feeling that they will either speed up the game, make the game more interesting, add more depth to it, or all the above. The Random Events spread across all five of the phase types as well as making major changes to your country as well as how some aspects of the game is played. It doesn't alter the core rules of the game, more on the lines of tweaking some phases during the game.

Started work on the new Random Event cards that should slightly enhance the game so that the players could potentially benefit from a mountain of wealth from an Economic Boom for two turns or have the opposite of the Economic Depression where you're at a minus of money one turn then get nothing the next! A Random Event card is taken every time you have made a successful attack against an enemy country and taken out one or many cities.

Added Card Previews: Infantry Standard, Infantry Specials, Armour Standard, Armour Specials, Airforce Standard, Airforce Specials, Navy Standard, Navy Specials, Tactical Standard, Tactical Specials, Generals.
Created the site and add pretty much all the pages except for the Links page as that will be added to in time. The units page includes all 5 categories, a page to the various Generals, and also the City cards too. The About page has a small summary of the game including the main concepts but doesn't in depth. I plan to include a small "how to get started" guide on how to start your own game, create a good economy, and build a good military.
