Leaving Australia behind me, the aeroplane flew towards Singapore, where I planned to stay for 4 nights. Thanks to Mr. Foo, my good friend in the university, and his hospitable family, I was able to experience the Singaporean life style and try various Singaporean cuisine by staying at his home.

Changi Airport might be the most beautiful airport that I have ever used. Every Singaporean takes pride in its facilities and service of the first rank in the world.

Merlion Park. Merlion is Singapore's symbol and also the origin of "Singapore", the name of this country.

Singaporean food originates in Chinese, Malay and Indian food. It's absolutely delicious and cheap! You can enjoy them at food courts in every shopping mall.
