Kangaroo Island II
I have never been a desert. Kangaroo Island, the third biggest island in Australia, is said to be a microcosm of the main land. It has not only magnificent coasts, cliffs and national parks but also, amazingly, a little desert called 'little Sahara'!

A couple from Netherlands and a Japanese girl. We knew each other during a tour. It was a small tour sponsored by the Youth Hostel Association. Unlike those major ones, it was less expensive but had more attractions. Since it limited its member to 15, we could get very close during the two-day travelling.
Can you tell any differences from the real Sahara? It is a desert that can be crossed without a camel!
