| From Melbourne to Adelaide, you will get through two highlight tourist spots that should never be missed by any traveller in Australia. Grampians National Park and Great Ocean Road. Grampians National park or "Gariwerd", which is its original Aboriginal name, combined with the immense amount of native flora and fauna, covers an area 100 kms long, 50kms wide, over 400 million years old and rises to its pinnacle at Mount William (1166m). upper right Reid's Lookout. We are in Victoria, but from the summit of the mountain we can get a view of villages and valleys of not only VIC but also the adjacent state, South Australia. Because of the beautiful view of the lake over there, Reid's Lookout is also called "Lakeview". lower right Mckenzie Falls Walk in Grampians Nat. Park. After more than seven hour riding, it was the first stop of the two-day bus tour that would take me from Adelaide to Melbourne. It is said to be of the No.1 large-scale in this national park. |
