| Usher is set to drop his album "Confessions" on March 23rd. Hit first single "Yeah" featuring Lil' Jon and Ludacris, is terrorizing the charts, clubs, and radio stations. His second single burn is out on the airwaves now, and is about his breakup with ex-girlfriend Chile from former group TLC, after he got a girl pregnant.. Usher has said "that he wanted this album to change the game!" AND THAT IT DID! And the third single "Confessions Part II" is blowin up just like the first two singles. Usher is on fire and won't cool down one bit! Usher born on October 14, 1979 grew up in Chattanooga, Tennessee and moved to Atlanta when he was 12. Usher Raymond was found by the co-founder of LaFace Records L.A. Reid at a talent show....Later that year in 93' he made a song for the Poetic Justice soundtrack. He had a single "Call me a mack" when he was 14. It didn't get Usher very far at all. But it did get him noticed not only by Puffy but by L.A. Reid and Babyface which later signed him to LaFace and put out his first album entitled "Usher" and 3 years later released the quadruple platinum blow up of "My Way" with productions by Teddy Reily and Jermaine Dupri this was by far the best CD yet and the best to come!!! After that Usher released a Live album. Then 8701 came out. That was a big album for Usher. With singles like "U Remind Me", "U Got It Bad", and "You Don't Have To Call" it launched Usher to the top of the R-n-B charts in 2001 into 2002. |
