Lander Team (Joe and Ravi) have made an impressive lander in the span of a week. We've tested it a few times, and most of the time it is successful. One time it completely cracked the egg, and obviously the problem was looked at and fixed. Recently they've had problems with the cage surrounding the egg, and it's putting too much pressure on the egg, and cracking it just with that pressure. Obviously, this is a problem we need to fix. They've also been able to find the force exerted on the egg using Logger Pro, and have made calculations accordingly. All in all, though, Lander has done an excellent job so far.

Overall, the word to describe this week is HECTIC.The Rover team (Nathan and Collin) has worked hard and has come a long way. We started out with a few legos, and ended up this week with an...almost...full-fledged Rover. They've been having some problems with turning and driving. Plus the scoop was a big problem, but it was modified, and the current one works really well.

Overall it's been a great week (except random moments of break downs and stress). Hardly two more weeks until the Launch date!!

Lastly, the PR team (Jenny and Aaron) has been busy toiling away at the website and at the teaching video. We've come a long way in the website, but as can be seen, there are still a lot of things we need to add, i.e. pictures, more information, etc. The majority of the PR team's time was devoted to the video on Microbiology, which ended up turning out nicely. All that's left is to tweak the website a little.
