So everything seemed to be going fine this week. We got the rover pretty much finished and working well. Or so we thought. It ends up that it couldn’t turn with just two motors driving the giant bulk of the rover (hey, it’s heavy for just Legos, a camera, and some other odds and ends.). We ended up taking away the motors that were powering the arm and using them for the front two wheels. Luckily, the rover turns now and can drive forward and backward with no problem. It was stressful trying to make last minute changes to the entire rover. I guess we didn’t think about the rover being too heavy for two motors to run.
