Hotter Than Hell Hundred

Gary survived his first HHH finishing the 100-mile course despite flate tires and record-setting temperatures. Here's a little more of what it looked like.

Tyler Bicycle Club member Andy Kathan looks cool, calm and collected. Can you tell he is a veteran of several HHHs?

Simpson Adventure Sport mechanic Kevin Legere found an interesting perch to watch the mass start. He has "sagged" for several HHHs.

Self portrait of Gary cruising early in the ride.

Great encouragement is provided by people sitting and standing along the route. This continued for many miles.

Gary saw Amy Johnson along the route. She is a Dallas resident with family in Tyler. She can be seen riding in East Texas when visiting family. Oddly, Gary had first met Amy riding in the Beauty and the Beast tour and took a picture of her then, too. Small world!
