Sunday Rail-Trail Ride - July 15, 2007
We are riding the Henderson Trail outside of Bridgeville, off Washington Pike. It is a very nice trail which connects to the Montour Trail near the McDonald Bridge.
We will meet once again at the statue in front of Phipps Conservatory at 9:00 a.m. on Sunday morning. You can also meet us at the trail head at 10:00 a.m.. The trail head is past Bridgeville and past the road to go to Hunting Ridge. You follow this about 3 miles to Hendersonville and the trail head is there.
We will be riding about 25 miles. There is an ice cream store on Washington Pike on the way back if anyone would like to stop after the ride.
The weather report at this time is for sunny and 76 degrees on Sunday so it should be a nice day to ride.
Contact Chuck at [email protected] and let me know if you are coming. If you need a ride let me kow. It is important to let us know you are coming so we know if we have to wait for anyone or not. Also let me know if you can carry an extra person and/or bike for anyone who needs a lift.
