We went down to Boston, and rode the trail from there down past West Newton.  The original plan was to ride 20 miles, but we kept deciding to go a little farther, and ended up riding almost 40 miles.  Chuck jumped in the river, and after a while I decided to join him; Bob and Jeff went up and stretched out at the picnic tables while we splashed around.  The weather was a little warm, but about half of the trail was shaded, and the stop for ice cream on the ride back helped a lot.

I was reminded the hard way, use sunscreen ouch ouch ouch.
