I became the proud owner of a 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII. I washed her, tuned her, buffed her....basically pampered the hell out of her. I loved her as much as my motorcycle.
Well anyways, as luck would have it this past Friday 1-11-02 as I was heading home; a vehicle going the opposite direction as myself swerved into my lane. Normal reaction would be to swerve as I did and both cars narrowly missed each other in what would have been a fatal accident. As I brought my Mark VIII off the grass and back onto the road way, she grabs a patch of black-ice and the Mark VIII goes totally sideways. Well long story short....I go totally sideways into a concrete wall. As my car grabs the corner of the wall my head goes smashing through the driverside window. I was knocked out for a few seconds or minutes. But I know when I come through. There is no one in sight. The little bastard who came into my lane left the scene and left me with a TOTALLED MARK VIII. My insurance company just recently notified me today that they are not paying my claim as there were no witnesses or another vehicle/driver to pin it on for that matter. So now I am majorly screwed. My only option is to advertise the car for salvage or for parts. So here I am.....trying to recover from this major financial set back.
If anyone knows of a friend, cousin, uncle/aunt, grandfather/grandmother, mom/dad, brother/sister, ......(hell you get the picture) who may need parts from a pristine and meticulously maintained 1994 Lincoln Mark VIII give them my contact information.
