Title                   : Cyco CTF1 *BETA*

Description             : Small Q3 CTF level with a tech theme. Bases are symetrical with 
                          multiple high / low routes. This is my first map, hopefully it
                          doesnt suck (i certainly dont think it does lol)

                          'decal technique' to me (brush count wouldve been way higher

To play                 : unzip the cyco_ctf1_beta.zip into your quake3\baseq3 directory. 
                          the map should appear with the rest of the CTF maps.

* Play Information *

Game                    : Quake 3 
Bot Match		: Botfile included. Bots roam the map fine, but usually stick to the
                          upper levels while carrying the flag. 
Recommended Bots        : Anarki, Lucy, Major, Tankjr, Hunter, Xaero, Ranger or Wrack, Uriel,
                          Doom or Phobos, Visor, Grunt, Keel, Klesk, Cadavre or Biker, 
                          Patriot or Razor, Orbb. These bots are best suited to the weapon 
                          set used on this level. Play with Nightmare bots only. (or better
                          yet, play w/ people :P )
Number of Players       : This map is suitable for 2-to-4 player teams. 4 on 4's are intense.
Weapon Set              : Each base contains 1 plasma gun and 1 lightning gun. Upper middle
                          has the rocket launcher; lower middle has a cycling lightning gun.
                          Players spawn with the shotgun.
Deathmatch		: No, but you can if you want i suppose...
Capture The Flag	: Yes (no shit right? lol)

* MAP Information *

Base			: from scratch (scratch? whatcha been scratchin?)
New Textures		: Yes, all based on orignal Q3 textures
New Shaders		: Yes, all based on orignal Q3 shaders
New Sounds              : One from Q2
Construction Time	: on and off for a loooooooooong time :P
Compile Machine         : 1.2ghz Tbird / 256 megs 'o SDRAM
Compile Time            : a little over 5 minutes for a fullvis (-lightextra)
Editor used		: GtkRadiant-1.1-TA
Known Bugs / issues     : I haven't added hint brushes yet, so expect higher framerates in
                          some areas of the map. But due to its small size and open nature 
                          (and a lot of shiney metal), low-end systems will have a hard time
                          getting decent framerates. Take the res and / or texture detail
                          down a notch, but do your best to play with the lightmap ON.
                          ***You need Zoid's Threewave CTF mappak (not the new mod) to see
                          the jumppad textures*** I might include these in the final...but
                          if you dont have the Threewave mappack, do urself a favor and get
                          it from http://www.fileplanet.com/dl/dl.asp?lvl/m-r/q3wctf.zip  
                          Good CTF maps.
