| SINGLETON CJ: [1] In this matter the plaintiff sought relief in the nature of an exemption from the usual proceedures appertaining to referenda regarding a particular referendum and for an order to the Elections Commissioner that that referendum be held. [2] The Court has now received a communication from the plaintiff withdrawing the Claim. According the claim is dismissed. [3] Ordinarily, a Court would order the plaintiff to pay the costs of the defendant. In this case, however, the proceedings had reached only a very early stage. Accordingly, I shall leave it to the defendant to make an application for costs if it chooses. [4] I ORDER THAT THE CLAIM BE DISMISSED. |
