textman interrupts most rudely: Art thou referring to me, Quick-
mind? If so, I have a question: How can anyone judge my claims
absurd or unrealistic without even bothering to examine them
first? Vague similarities to known popular errors and "fads" does
not make up for a basic failure to investigate new ideas, new
claims, and new paradigms for any possible merits *before*
dismissing them.

This is the polite way of saying that what we don't know
about Ancient Egypt and Akhenaton *still* exceeds (by a
long shot) what we do know!

Oh ho! Now *this* is the sort of question that strengthens
and honors the scientific enterprise!

Quite so. I've long believed that good questions are
very *far* better than easy answers and dismissive insults.
.

hahaha! Good One, Quickmind  :D  . . . btw: It seems that perhaps
convergence is the right way to go after all, since it occurs to
me that it was *also* Akh-en-Aton's role and purpose and duty
AND *joy* to do exactly that: "spread light not hide it". And this
"scientific principle" did not die with the dark king ("who lives
on truth" - Hymn to Aton), but returns shortly with the beginnings
of greek philosophy, and later is set forth plainly on papyrus
thusly:
.
He also said to them, "A lamp isn't brought to be put under
a basket or under a bed, is it? Isn't it to be placed on a lamp-
stand? For nothing is hidden, except to be made clear, and
nothing concealed, except to be brought to light. Let the one
who has ears to hear, listen!" And he said to them, "Take
care about what you hear. The measure you give will be the
measure you receive, and more will be added to you. For
whoever has, more will be given, but whoever does not have,
even what he has will be taken from him." -- Mark 4:21-25 / NETbible
