Alien Ant farm - I have been lucky enough to see this band playing live at Brixton Academy earlier on this year. The album is great and when the band play their own material they manage to make the crowd come to life. I managed to crowd surf at their gig and unfortunately got ripped to pieces by the security man who thought that I was after the lead singer. A great band discovered by the same man who found Papa Roach. (see below)
Papa Roach - This band have been able to release a 2nd album recently despite almost breaking up. I've seen this band play before at reading festival last year and they were fucking brilliant! I'm currently waiting to see them play at Brixton on the 7th November - me, luke and clapham plan to fuck shit up on that night. This band mixes up hard rock riffs with kick-ass lyrics with a rap style thrown in. The second album is heavier than the first but is still one of the best albums in my collection. Songs like "Infest", "Dead Cell" and "She Loves Me Not" are definitely worth a listen.
Blink 182 - Maybe one of the greatest bands to listen to when you just want to laugh or just be cheered up. Blink 182 could be described as punk, although there is no-one who is quite like them. The live album (The Mark, Tom and Travis Show) is full of classic Blink 182 one-liners:  "Never trust some-one who shits on himself". They have been going for a long time and their older albums are just as good as the newer albums. Blink 182 could appeal to every one as their music is very pop-based and they are possibly the most hilarious band to ever do a live show.
Staind - I've put in this one in to piss off Ollie Latham who thinks that anything I listen to is shite. Well they're not. I've seen this band play at Reading Festival and they caught my attention then, so I bought the album, which is pretty good. Anyone who has got the album, who I've spoken to, says that tracks 1, 4 and 11 are the best - I agree with them. Heavy music and great lyrics are what make Staind great to listen to when your really pissed off.
Machinehead - I've got the 4th album this band produced, called supercharger. This is one of the best albums I have and almost every song is worth listening to. Machinehead are a very heavy band who use grinding guitar chords to make brilliant music. "Bulldozer", "Deafening Silence" and the Sabbath track "Hole in The Sky" are all great tracks to listen to.
This is my yamaha ERG 121 which I have recently got my hands on. Ok, so I'm pretty bad at the moment but I intend to be amazing some time in the future.
