Gibson and Fender electric guitars are now her mainstay and the music she now plays is rock and roll.
Back in 2000 Dee Dee contributed 3 recordings for "Awake"(the collaboration she produced with Kathleen Sims and The Vermont Women's Music Project)
Brief History
In the early 1980's she moved from Boston to Austin and fell in love with the blues at "Antones."
Upon moving to NYC in the mid 1980's, Dee Dee spent 2 years playing in The Village with Ricky Kirk, (The Pleasure Pirates, The Eastsiders, Acoustic City, The Dice, Johnny Thunders) and as a duo they played original music and covers for the bridge and tunnel crowd.
